Skitour "On the tracks of Sherlock Holmes"
Embark on an exciting skiing experience and on April 5, 2020, tour in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes to Davos. The author of the novels, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, set off with the Telemarks to tour from Arosa to Davos. 126 years later you too can relive the anniversary with a guided ski tour.
Programme 5 April 2020
- 7.30 am Welcome at the Sports and Congress Centre and transfer to the Isla
- Ascent Isla to Maienfelder Furgga
- Descent to Stafelalp
- Lunch at the Stafelalp
- Departure to Davos Frauenkirch
- Bus transfer to Davos followed by a mountain railway ride in the Parsenn area
- Depending on snow conditions: via the Weissfluh and the Haupter Tälli or the Strelapass to Langwies
- RhB train journey from Langwies back to Arosa

Offer CHF 200.00 per person for:
- Graduated ski tour leader
- Ski touring equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe)
- Lunch
- All transports (incl. tour ticket to the Weissfluh)
- Conditions of participation
- Practiced skiing off the marked slopes Ascent approx. 900 metres in altitude, approx. 3 hours marching time Sufficient insurance cover is the responsibility of the participant. The ski tour leader reserves the right to adjust the route and the program depending on weather, snow and avalanche conditions. Implementation from 4 participants to max. 20 participants.
