Unique mountain adventures in Lenzerheide

Rothorn bivouac

Do you ever wanted to spend a night under the stars in the mountains of Graubünden? This summer we offer this unique experience on the Parpan Rothorn. An exciting day, a special night and a morning with sunrise in the mountains await you.

The day begins with a guided tour from the mid-station Scharmoin up to the Parpan Rothorn, led by hiking guide Andreas Niedermann. Alternatively, you also have the option to take the cable car to the Rothorn peak. Once at the summit, you will be greeted with a welcome aperitif. Furthermore you will arrange your camp site and the fire place at Totälpli. For a night in the nature a warming campfire, where the joint dinner is prepared, is essential. During a short evening hike at dusk you can experience the multifaceted atmosphere. You can watch the stars slowly emerging in the sky. A telescope gives you a deep insight into the universe.

Under the stars and with the sound of the crackling campfire, you spend an unforgettable night at around 2800 meters above sea level. The next day, the path leads to the east summit of Parpan Rothorn, where you can enjoy the first rays of sun during sunrise. Following you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet at the panoramic restaurant «Rothorngipfel».
