The Biathlon Arena Lenzerheide opened in Lantsch/Lenz in December 2013. As the first permanently installed biathlon track in Switzerland, the Biathlon Arena in Lantsch/Lenz is an important training and competition centre for both national and international teams.
At the core of the biathlon track is the World Cup compliant fully automatic shooting range, with 30 stands and a control building. 10 shooting spaces can be used for training or competitions as required. In winter, four cross-country circuits measuring between 500 m and 4 kilometers, as well as a 150 m long penalty circuit, are available.
In summer 2014, the infrastructure was further developed, with a 1.6 km long roller rink, to make the site attractive for summer training too.
Experience the «fascination of biathlon» - the mixture of concentration and precision when shooting, as well as the stamina and power required for cross-country skiing makes biathlon a challenge for body and mind. The Lenzerheide Biathlon Arena offers various taster sessions, or can organise an event for you and your colleagues, team mates or friends.
After an introduction to shooting with small calibre rifles, you can raise your pulse whilst roller skiing and afterwards attempt to hit the target whilst shooting. In summer you can challenge your stamina by bike, on roller skis, inline skates, with nordic walking sticks or simply on foot. During the fun competition, the rifles always remain at the firing range.
