Weather Dwarfs of Heidbüel

High up in the forests of Heidbüel lives a small peculiar folk - the weather dwarfs. Nobody knows the weather as well as they do. Day after day they dance with the wind, listen to the rain or watch the animals. Whether they are deer, marmot or fox, they all help to forecast the weather.

Whirlwind fireplaces & more
Whirlwind fireplaces, places to stay, games and fun as well as adventures on the weahter path await you. Wood for grilling is available on site free of charge. The grills also have a grate. At the summit station Heidbüel, you will also find a serviced kiosk, where hamburgers, sausages, cool drinks, coffee, sweets and ice cream are offered for sale. You can also buy your sausage for barbecue. The kiosk is open in good weather. Toilets and water are available at the summit station Heidbüel.

Exciting weather path
The 2.5 km long mountain trail takes you through the woods and pastures, but also over the top of the hill and is partly steep and slightly exposed. At each of the ten stations along the weather path, you can use an eye-catcher to discover a mountain animal, which helps you to decipher the weather message on the weather dwarf map. The circular route is suitable for children from school age. We also recommend good shoes.

Grab the weather forecast map in one of the information offices of the Lenzerheide holiday region Lenzerheide or at the mountain railway point of sale in the Portal Churwalden and explore the stations on the weather trail. As a reward for the decrypted weather message, you get a little surprise.
