A winter hiking paradise in the heart of Graubünden

Discover the Arosa Lenzerheide winter sports resort by foot. Throughout the area there is a varied network of prepared walking and hiking trails that can be walked with good winter footwear. Whether in the midst of the winter sports area or just a little bit aside through snow-covered forests, discover your favourite route.

The signposted winter hiking trails will lead you to the most beautiful places in the high valley, and are also ideal for Nordic walking. Many mountain restaurants in Lenzerheide and Arosa are accessible by foot, and are the ideal meeting point for skiers and winter hikers.

Heidi & Gigi Trail

A special highlight in the winter sports paradise is the Heidi & Gigi Trail, which connects Arosa and Lenzerheide. The pure hiking time of this tour is almost six hours. However, it can be shortened accordingly by the use of additional mountain railways.

Along this winter hiking path, you can enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery, use the latest transport equipment such as the Urdenbahn and feed yourself in one of the many cozy mountain restaurants.

Operating times/ prices

A total of 14 cable car facilities are available for winter hikers in the Arosa Lenzerheide winter sports paradise. The Arosa Lenzerheide Winter Hiking Pass can also be used on public transport between Arosa – Chur – Lenzerheide – Tiefencastel.

Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead in the Vaz/ Obervaz area. This applies to the residential areas, quiet zones, playgrounds and the entire Heidsee area. Disregard for this rule is punishable with a fine of CHF 100.00.   Thank you for your understanding.
