The mountain railways are working at high speed
Arosa Lenzerheide officially starts into the winter season 2020/2021 next Saturday, 28 November, with continuous skiing on the Hörnli in Arosa. In Lenzerheide, the bikepark and the panorama restaurant on the Rothorn summit will be open again this weekend.
It is too warm
The low amount of new snow and rather high temperatures do not allow for technical snowmaking at the moment. Nevertheless, the staff of the Arosa and Lenzerheide Mountain Railways are working hard to expand the winter sports offer as soon as nature allows.
The following offer will be open and in operation at the weekend:
Arosa
Ski operation
- Hörnli-Express
- Chairlift Hörnli
- Restaurants: Hörnli Hut
Operation for pedestrians (no bike transport)
- Arosa-Weisshorn aerial tramway 1st section
- Arosa-Weisshorn aerial tramway 2nd section (only during weekend)
- Restaurants: Open throughout: Brüggerstuba; only open at weekends: 360° panorama restaurant Weisshorngipfel and Alp Arosa

Relaxed online booking
Book day and multi-day tickets online and benefit twice over: Firstly, the prices for Arosa Lenzerheide online are always at least 6% cheaper than at the sales points of the mountain railways and secondly, guests do not lose time queuing and spend more time on the slopes.
Information about Covid-19
The 2020/2021 winter season will be able to start as planned, subject to all the protective measures against infection with the Covid-19 virus. The safety and health of guests and employees is a major priority in Arosa Lenzerheide. We are convinced that all guests in the winter sports area will find sufficient safety distance so that they can enjoy the mountain idyll.
