#1: All-inclusive holidays in the mountains

Yes, you did read it correctly. You can have all-inclusive holidays in Arosa too. If you stay for at least one night, you receive the Arosa Card free of charge. This gives you unrestricted access to many local offers. The All-inclusive Offer even includes use of the mountain railways.

#2: Altein waterfalls

Iceland and Costa Rica may indeed have waterfalls, but so does the Schiesshorn in Arosa: the churning waterfalls at the Schiesshorn impress everyone, whether young or old. The water at the large Altein waterfall crashes down to the rocks 70 meters below and you can even feel the refreshing spray in your face.

#3: Weisshorn Sunrise

From the top of the Weisshorn, watch the sun rise above the horizon and see how the countless mountain peaks are illuminated in shades of orange and red. This magical atmosphere at 2,653 metres above sea level is the perfect way to start the day. And this is from the highest point in Arosa, not a beach in Bali.

#4: Festival feeling

Germany has “Rock am Ring”, Belgium “Tomorrowland”, and New York the “Governor’s Ball”. But there is no need to travel so far to experience fantastic festivals. Arosa is the event destination and hosts exciting festivals throughout the summer.

  • Arosa Jazz Days: 11 days packed with true New Orleans jazz, swing and authentic blues.
  • Music Course Weeks: improve your musical skills in the unique mountain landscape
  • Dialect Festival: celebrate dialect culture in all its forms
  • Bergkirchli [mountain chapel]: possibly the most idyllic and calming concert stage in the world

#5: Untersee Lido

Beach vibes in Arosa! Sand between your toes, the sun on your face and a cocktail in your hand - the Badi bathing area at the Untersee lake can give you this beach feeling. Choose between a refreshing swim in the natural Untersee lake or the heated children’s pool next to it, and then enjoy a delicious ice cream on the sun terrace.

#6: Arosa Bear Sanctuary

Canada or Arosa? Arosa!

You can experience unique animal observations at the Arosa Bear Sanctuary. The Arosa-Weisshorn cable car brings you conveniently to 2,000 m above sea level where exciting animal encounters are waiting for you. In the Arosa Bear Sanctuary, you can watch previously mistreated bears in their new home and learn interesting facts from the animal keepers.

#7: Natural wellness

How about swapping your hot shower for a cold foot bath in the crystal-clear mountain lake? This Must Do must, without doubt, be on the Bucket List. Maybe a refreshing foot bath does not immediately sound like wellness, but we promise you, you will feel reborn!

Tip: the 10 Lake Tour connects ten mountain lakes in Arosa via three different hiking routes.

#8: ChippinGolf

Do you only associate Arosa with high mountains and strenuous hikes? Then you are wrong! “ChippinGolf” is a unusual activity for expert and novice golf fans. ChippinGolf is a form of mini-golf, however, the holes are played out in natural countryside.
