Bike Kingdom Hunt Arosa 14.-16. July 2023
There will not only be an advanced round, but also an intermediate hunt through the Bike Kingdom. A must for mountain bikers who love a challenge on two wheels with like-minded people in a fun atmosphere.
The proven race format of the Bike Kingdom Hunt Arosa remains: Races will be held in teams of 2 or 3. In the spirit of many roads lead to Rome, the route will be put together individually by each team with the help of a trail map and instructions. Either way, an absolute trail experience is guaranteed: Sometimes over flowing, fast trails, sometimes over technical sections, the teams find their way to the challenges and control stations to be completed. At the end, the finish line and the small but nice festival area await with an ice-cold Afterride beer and DJ tunes. In addition to the race day, the welcome evening on Friday and the test ride on Sunday leave plenty of room to cultivate friendships, test new equipment, talk shop and enjoy the trails of the Bike Kingdom.
E-bike category remains and two route options are integrated
To each his own kind, to each his own bike! In 2022, e-bikers were included as a separate category for the first time, and they are also very welcome at the Hunt this year. The only condition is to manage the battery charge well, as the ascent with the mountain railways is forbidden for this category. In addition to the name, the Bike Kingdom Hunt offers another novelty, namely the possibility to choose between the Advanced and the Intermediate round. The Advanced-Hunters cover more trail kilometres, are taken to Lenzerheide and back and complete a few more control stations. The Intermediates enjoy the trail fun primarily in Arosa.
Arosa as part of the Bike Kingdom
Surrounded by the impressive peaks of the Grisons Alps, over flowing meadows and steep, stony trails. Over 500km of signposted mountain bike trails and over 900km of GPS routes await mountain bikers in the picturesque, immaculate landscape. The routes lead over the single trails of Arosa Lenzerheide and Chur, from the Hörnli over the Urdental, sometimes downhill, sometimes uphill - whether with or without the help of the mountain railways.
Registration for the Bike Kingdom Hunt Arosa is now open and all information is available at bikekingdom.ch/hunt.
