By far the best single trail weekend in summer 2020

Slight wafts of mist still pass by in the morning, but the participants of the Hörnli Trail Hunt 2020 could expect an eventful summer day with endless trail fun. Already after the awarding of the mission passes it was soon clear that this year's hunt offered a lot of scope for different routes. From the start at the Hörnli-Express mountain station there were four different options to start the adventure. This meant that the field quickly spread and the trails could be enjoyed in peace and quiet despite the large number of participants. Especially the beautiful single trail from Gredigsfürggli over the Älplisee back to Arosa was a delight for the trail-hearts. But also the Hörnli Trail was able to find the right flow over almost 7 kilometres this year. The cable car rides also helped the participants not to have to pedal too many meters of altitude themselves.

The most important thing about the event, apart from the fun descents, is of course the good atmosphere. Especially the three different missions of Scott Sports, Endura and Continental offered exciting variety and at the same time allowed a breather to prepare for the next trails.

The legendary Pocket-Bike Challenge by Scott Sports was enhanced or defused this year with quiz questions and thus caused many laughter lines. Conti's sack-hopping was all about good jumping technique and Endura's sack-hopping required equal weight and skill.

Taking into account the contact tracing of all participants, the organizer managed to achieve a good mix between being together and keeping an appropriate distance with an outdoor dinner, whereby the guidelines of the federation were observed at all times. Thus, the well-deserved Hörnli & Ghackets from the Hotel Seehof and Restaurant Provisorium could be well-disposed. As always, the distribution of prizes was very entertaining and amusing, there was a lot of laughing and joking and the sponsors generously distributed prizes.

The holiday region Arosa and the lawnmowers can look back on a successful Hörnli trail hunting day with team spirit among the riders, a sporty atmosphere, fun and - most importantly - many single trails!
